Intro posts, Artist Statements, the 1 page CV, is there somehow any way for them not to seem trite?
I doubt it….
Still, at least some sort of beginning post should be made at the founding of a new venture, I suppose.

I made this blog mainly to write about Lolita fashion, and chronicle my activities related to it.
Not everything in it will ‘be Lolita’ but everything in it has some sort of related connection to it in my own lifestyle or perspective. I’m dedicating a solo blog to it for a few reasons:
1. Because I know my regular blog readers and friends wouldn’t like to read as much as I want to post on the subject.
2. Because hobbyist Lolitas won’t appreciate sifting through my general blog for the Lolita posts, I’m making a similar blog for my doll hobby, with some overlapping in them all, which is pretty natural, but allows me to really hone in on the specialized areas of each hobby that I enjoy.
3. And finally, because I want to see the my progress through this hobby in the form of a pretty little bundle of postings, styled together into an ongoing chronicle of sorts, partly reporting, partly journaling, partly reaching out to the larger online Lolita fashion and lifestyle community by sharing my local activities. Comments are moderated.

Overlap topics will be:
Other street styles
Some doll posts, mainly of meets when I dress up or dress dolls up
Cooking
Crafting

There will be posts backdated before today, I’ve kept a Tumblr a while and posted personal Lolita things there and to my Facebook, Instagram and other social media so I’ll slowly pull in the backdated content and give it the correct corresponding dates to give a more complete picture of my Lolita experiences.
